Fun with simple machine designing
Today I was given a task for designing a simple machine with our level 2 kit i.e. Metrix.
I started with various plans but i had a vision to make it as simple as possible. I first made a design which had balancing problems. Then with help of my seniors we further simplified it and after hours of RnD, we finally rectified all the errors and a crusher was designed. Then came the testing phase. I started the testing of design with simple paper. It worked well and then we all started doing funny things with it like we inserted my cell phone and few designing materials like standard strip and screw driver from kit . After the approval of the design from seniors I finally make the 3d design of that model and we had photographs and videos. I also hope all kids will enjoy the design also while playing they would also learn concept like alignment of wheels, free wheels and motorised wheels, RPM of motors, etc.
Had a great time with my team and was wonderful experience for me to learn the process of RnD and designing the manual for students.
